Some interesting observations:
In working on a paintball project, I came across a file of links to paintball companies from about 10 years ago, quite the comprehensive compilation, grouped by equipment and service offerings, such as "Packs, Pouches, Vests" or "Clothing & Pads".

I decided to check it out to see who was still in business and - wow.  There's been  so much consolidation and mergers.  I'm not complaining about that, its largely how we got where we are today, with  companies like Valken and Kore establishing full lines, from paintballs to cleaning cloths, applying economies of scale to increase product ranges, lower costs and improve quality, while, on the other hand, making the landscape of individual entrepreneurs and innovators a smaller place, because that's where  this industry came from.  You wanted a piece of equipment, no one made it, off to the machine shop you go.

The other interesting thing is to see where various URLs are  going now.  Some have malware warnings attached, others are in completely different industries and some still land on paintball-related pages.
