Dateline: PBLeagues.com: The first Annual Standings for the WCPL 2023 season have been posted on PBLeagues.com.
You can see them here on the PBLeagues website (under WCPL), or, you can gaze at them right here on your own WCPL Blog:
Rest assured - the standings here are exactly the same as those appearing on PBLeagues.com. Funny how factual data works that way. (And, in case you were wondering, yes, the days of the week repeat in the same order, every week, without fail. Would be very difficult to schedule events if this week the weekend was Sat & Sun, and next week it was actually Tuesday and Wednesday, right? But I digress. Lets get back to the important stuff.)

We have also received several photos of the Mounds Field that will be used in the upcoming Panhhandle Paintball Classic, which will take place on April 1st and 2nd at (you guessed it!) Panhandle Paintball, in Holt, Florida.
Mounds fields are great for both playing and spectating, as they often afford the peanut gallery the ability to view more than 90% of the playing field.
They also offer the changes in elevation and infinite shooting angles which are reminiscent of woods play as well.
The following six images will give you some idea of what kinds of tactical challenges that will await the teams competing at this venue.
Speaking of which. Panhandle Paintball announced in a Facebook post that this event will only (ONLY) be open to a maximum of 18 teams. Since the event is just about a month away, its time to get cracking, head on over to
PBLeagues.com and register your team. Only ten slots remain open. (That link should take you directly to the Panhandle Paintball/Florida Open Registration Page.)
Have no doubt, this is going to be a
very cool event! (Why? Oh, any number of reasons, but two off the top of my head are - several
Valkyries will be playing and I'll be there. How can you miss that? And no, I'm NOT a Valkyrie.)
Without further deliberate procrastination on my part, here are your WCPL Panhandle Paintball Classic Mounds Field pictures:
Those ought to give you something to think about in the weeks leading up to the event!
