Score Keeping online updates were delayed by a number of logistical issues (my apologies but despite personal desires and the opinions of a few, I do NOT run the world). Technological issues also interfered with videography from the site.
Remaining scores are being entered today and will by up on PBLeagues.com shortly (under the WCPL's section).
I would like to personally thank Chris Raehl of PBLeagues for his "above and beyond" efforts to assist us throughout the course of the weekend.
For the most part6 we managed to keep these issues from affecting the team's enjoyment of the event. There were a lot of reunions (Marcu of the Predators for one meeting some folks he hasn't hung out with in 30+ years) and it was those moments that really made the event: we conducted an unofficial Best Stache contest during the event (results forthcoming though unresolved), several new members were inducted into the legendary The Band team, James McGuffog was crowned King of the Valkyries (who also presented me with a commemorative jersey), Kevin Donaldson's head managed to (barley) avoid exploding, Jerry Braun and I shared a very cordial visit (doubt all you want to) and collectively we all managed to uncover some stunning details about Paintball's International Crumb Cake Conspiracy (again, details forthcoming...so long as the "authorities" don't catch up with me before I can reveal all).
Check out the scoreboard photos for head-to-head game results, the final outcome and how OG paintball skills proved once again to triumph in the face of adversity!
