This coming weekend, Panhandle Paintball (Dan Colby, Steve Preskill) will be hosting the WCPL's Panhandle Paintball Classic ten player woodsball tournament.

Panhandle will be using woods and mounds fields for the event.  The image above was screen captured from a video posted to Youtube (here), giving you a small idea of the field-level view.  Keep in mind that the image was taken prior to the field being finished;  additional bunkers have been added, the bunkers are larger and grass has grown on them.  (Also, Panhandle is quite proud of the fact that these are "pure, genuine Florida dirt mounds", no filler.)

I'll be attending the event, updating the scores on PBLeague.com and elsewhere (like here and on the Facebook page throughout the event.

I also hope to be posting live video to the event - might be game coverage, might be on-air appearances by some of the personalities attending, might be "ye olde paintball socializiing", I'm really not sure yet what we'll be able to capture.  But it will be a live preview of the kind of video coverage you can expect from us as we advance through this 2023 season.

I'm looking forward to it, getting together with a bunch of old paintball friends, making new paintball friends, breathing in that woods and gelatin-flavored air that hovers over events.
